Session Suggestions & Volunteers Meetup

Suggestion BoxGood afternoon, WordCampers!

Speaker submissions have been coming in steadily, but we’re lacking diversity when it comes to presentation topics. Thus we ask…

Submit your session suggestions!

What do you want to learn at WCTO 2012? Submit your top three suggestions on our newly-created Session Requests page. We’ll collaborate with our speakers to work popular suggestions into their presentations.

Interested in speaking?

Speaker submissions are still being collected! We’re particularly interested in case studies (how did you use WordPress to solve a problem?) and educational presentations. If you’re interested in speaking and are working on a topic, think to yourself, “what will attendees learn from my presentation?”

Send us your submissions on our Be a Speaker page.

Tentative: Volunteer Meetup @ George Brown (Aug. 25th)

August’s WordPress Meetup is a volunteers meeting for WordCamp Toronto 2012. Pending confirmation from George Brown College, the meetup will be held at the St. James campus. If we cannot get confirmation from George Brown, we’ll relocate to a nearby cafe in the St. Lawrence Market district.

Reminder: This is a preparation meetup for WordCamp! Due to time and (potential) space restrictions, we ask that only those interested in volunteering for WCTO attend this meetup.
